The annual Charities Appeal campaign is under way, where we will be raffling off a Lincoln MKZ all wheel drive luxury car, a Ford F-150 4X4 Super Crew and an early bird prize of $10,000 cash.
This is our largest fund-raising event of the year, and we need your help if we are to raise the kind of money that we require so that we may fulfill our obligations to help our parish and the less-fortunate. Every month we are asked for assistance, but we cannot provide the help that is requested unless we have the required funds.
We have been issued 750 books of tickets that we must sell in order to raise money which will enable us to contribute to various charities.
Our Council has 375 members. If each member was to take two books of tickets to sell to their friends, relatives and colleagues, we would sell every book that we have on hand.
We will have a table at the pancake breakfasts on Sunday, November 24th. PLEASE do your part and pick up a couple of books. If we all help out, this campaign will be a huge success. Books are easy to sell, as there are only 8 tickets in a book.
