Vince O'Shea Memorial Golf Tournament

Hello to you all,
The 2nd annual Vince O’Shea Memorial is only two weeks away and we wanted to update you of a few changes this year.
We are having Jamie Sadlowski (2008-09 world’s longest ball hitter) come out to support the tournament this year and he will begin the day with a 45 minute demo of how best to play par 5’s J. Dustin Nielson from the Fan 1260 will MC the event and will be interviewing Jaime tomorrow morning at 9:25AM on his morning show.
The schedule of events for the tournament will be as follows:
11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Registration and check-in at Edmonton Country Club
12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Jamie Sadlowski demo (Hole #3)
1:00 p.m. Tournament introduction and depart to respective holes
1:30 p.m. Shotgun Start – Tournament begins
7:00 p.m. Banquet Dinner (please let us know of any dietary restrictions)
7:30 p.m. Tournament Raffle
Prizes & Awards
9:00 p.m. Wrap Up
This year’s event will maintain its Irish heritage, but will be played as a Texas scramble.
A dress code is still in effect:
DRESS CODE – We encourage you to partake in the Irish green theme but please follow the dress code below
Denim of any kind or colour is not permitted.
For women; shorts, skirts, or slacks are allowed and sleeveless shirts are the minimum requirement, gym shorts, tank tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps or T-shirts are not permitted.
For men: short sleeve shirts with collars or dress mock T-shirts are the minimum requirement. Gym shorts, muscle shirts or T-shirts are not allowed. Any shirt or caps bearing numbers, slogans or offensive illustrations are not allowed.
Hats or caps are permitted in the Locker Room, Breezeway and Golf Shop only. Hats or caps must be worn with the “bill” facing forward. SOFT SPIKES ONLY. It is the responsibility of the convenor to communicate the dress code to participants.
We still have room available and would love to fill up this year, so please spread the word to fellow golfers and encourage your friends, family and co-workers to come out and enjoy the day.
