Chaplain’s message — Feburary 2015

Greetings Brother Knights of the Father Bonner Council of St. Thomas More Parish,

I wish to extend my sincere thanks to you for the tireless dedication with which you serve our Parish.  Guided by the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism, the Knights of the Father Bonner Council clearly demonstrate that the Knights are good for the Church, good for Catholic men and good for families.  Through serving at Mass, volunteering at the Marian Centre, delivering hampers, organizing pancake breakfasts and parish suppers, to name only a few activities, you support the spiritual formation of your members and their families, and strengthen our Parish community.  With love and obedience you have demonstrated sound leadership for the parish by undertaking creative methods of fundraising, especially with the implementation of the grocery card program.

As faithful supporters of vocations to the priesthood, I invite you during this year of the Consecrated Life as proclaimed by Pope Francis, to continue to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life from our Parish community.

May you continue to be bring glory to God through your love and service as Knights of Columbus. May God continue to bless the Father Bonner Council!
