By the time this newsletter goes to press, two Council events will have occurred:

Feb. 1 – Major Degree

Feb. 8 – Parish Pasta Dinner

Hopefully, many of you Brothers took the opportunity to participate.

We invite more Brother Knights to participate with us as we strive especially to serve church and community.

We have various areas that could use your involvement, and with the number of members we have in this Council, there certainly would not be a burden on anyone. Please contact me,

Paul Liber : 780-437-0954 or pliber@telusplanet .net. You don’t have to get involved in very many projects, so if everyone contributes some time, all efforts would be minimal.

Pancake Breakfast: We wish to reactivate a second team. Basically, this entails four (4) Sundays a year per team. So, this is very manageable, especially if we have a good number of volunteers. I urge all members to seriously consider volunteering to assist. This is a great way to get involved to serve our parish and enjoy fraternalism at the same time. Brothers, there is only a small percentage of our members who are serving in our activities. Please consider helping us out.

Our next meeting is on Feb. 11. Mass is at 7:00 PM, followed by the meeting. I feel that I have not seen a good number of you at a meeting.

By the way, did you know that I am the Grand Knight of our Council?
